Ring mold feed pellet machine thickness selection should be appropriate

Proper selection of the appropriate mold thickness is an important part of ensuring the quality and yield of the feed pellet machine. It involves a compression ratio problem (compression ratio = effective length of the die hole / diameter of the die hole). The ring-shaped feed pellet machine with a large compression ratio has a large particle density and a smooth surface. On the contrary, it will cause the feed pellets to be not strong enough and the appearance is loose, which is one of the reasons for the high powder content of the feed pellet machine. However, if the compression ratio is too large, it will make the ring mold difficult to discharge and even cause the plugging machine.

What is the appropriate compression ratio for the ring mold feed pellet machine? This is a more flexible problem, related to the die hole, diameter, and production variety. For example: the compression ratio of the 3mm ring diameter is generally 12~12.5; the diameter of the 3.5mm ring is 13; the diameter is 4mm. Corresponding to the US CPM-3020 pellet machine, its output is usually: 8 ~ 10t / h; 10 ~ 12t / h; 12 ~ 15t / h (these production has included production time). The products produced are firm and have a smooth and shiny appearance.

For the production of high fiber-containing varieties, the compression ratio of the ring-shaped feed pellet machine should be relatively small, or produced by the old mold.
