    If low carbon steel is used, solid carburizing and quenching, the thickness of carburized layer is generally 0.8-1.2mm, the surface hardness is generally HRC56-62, and the hardness within 4mm of pin hole circumference does not exceed HRC28. The utility model has the advantages that the process is simple, the surface of the hammer is hard and the inner layer is soft. When the carburizing wears, the inner layer wears very quickly; if the medium carbon steel is selected, the hardness of the quenching zone after heat treatment is HRC50-57, the hardness of the non-quenched zone Does not exceed HRC28. The whole is quenched and cracks are prone to occur.
    Special cast iron has chilled white cast iron, hundred cast iron and other isothermal quenching. The cast iron hammer is easy to take. After chilling, the wear resistance is high and the cost is low. However, the production process of the hammer must be controlled to ensure the quality and prevent the use. A break has occurred and a serious accident has occurred.
    During the casting process, the hammer must be uniformly cooled to reduce the deformation of the hammer during the cooling process, thereby changing the important properties such as the strength, fatigue limit and rigidity of the hammer to meet the working requirements of the hammer.
     
    Our analysis of the imported hammers confirmed that the imported hammers were treated with carbonitriding with 20cr steel. In order to reduce the cost, we have tried and compared with the on-site production and application. Finally, the A3 steel plate was selected by carburizing-carbonitriding and ten-high extraction and tempering. The performance reached the level of imported hammer.
