Feed Equipment Knowleagde

  • Hammer is the most important part of the feed mill, and it is also the most wearable part. The crushing effect of a crusher depends largely on the quality and type of the hammer and the installation of the hammer. The following is a brief description of how the pulverizer should select the hammer from the three aspects of the type of the hammer, the mass of the hammer and the installation of the hammer.

    hammers

    First, the type of hammer
At present, there are many types of hammers, and the shapes are different, but the most commonly used inside the pulverizing machine is a plate-shaped rectangular hammer. Because the hammer is not only simple in structure, easy to manufacture, but also versatile and wear resistant. Nowadays, the hammers used in the feed mills in China have been standardized, and are divided into three types of standard hammers of type 1, type 2 and type 3, and the three standard hammer pieces are rectangular double-hole hammers.

Second, the quality of the hammer
The quality of the hammer depends mainly on its material, heat treatment and processing accuracy. At present, the main manufacturing materials of crusher hammers in China are low carbon steel, medium carbon steel and special cast iron. Low carbon steel adopts solid low carbon quenching, which is characterized by simple process, low cost and certain wear resistance. The surface of the hammer is hard and the inner layer is soft. However, after the carburized layer is worn, the inner layer wears quickly. The medium carbon steel is quenched after heat treatment, and should be partially quenched, because the whole quenching is prone to cracking. The characteristics of special cast iron are: the cast iron is more convenient, the wear resistance is high, and the cost is low. Regardless of the material used, the material composition and production process of the hammer must be strictly controlled to ensure quality and prevent breakage during use.

Third, the installation of the hammer
Pay special attention to the hammer clearance and the number of hammers when installing the hammer. The number and arrangement of the hammers in the pulverizer will affect the balance of the rotor, the uniformity of the wear of the hammer, the distribution of the material in the pulverizing chamber, and the working efficiency of the pulverizer. As for the clearance of the hammer, it is determined according to the characteristics of the pulverized material.
