For ponds without blooms, the water quality of the pond can be judged from the color and area of the oil film on the water surface at the downwind. In the morning, it is yellowish brown or smoky, and green in the afternoon. If there is a persistent rust film on the water surface for a long time, it means that the water in the pool is thin and old, and new water must be replaced.
The so-called "bloom" refers to the appearance of a cloud-like colored float on the surface of the pond, which is caused by the proliferation of certain plankton. Pool water with a certain bloom is good pool water, and most of the plankton can be ingested and digested by aquatic animals, which is extremely beneficial to their growth. However, this kind of water has a low dissolved oxygen content. If the weather changes suddenly, not only shrimp floating heads will appear, but also a large number of algae will die due to lack of oxygen, which will make the pool water look bad, smelly, and pan ponds. For this reason, it is necessary to control the large number of blooms. The methods include reducing or stopping fertilization or feeding, replacing part of the old water and injecting new water, and splashing the whole pond with quicklime.

When the water quality of the aquaculture water body is severely poor, the cultured organisms often exhibit abnormal activities. For example, when the aquaculture water body is severely hypoxic, the fish and shrimp will have floating heads or even pan ponds; when the toxic chemicals in the aquaculture water body exceed the standard, the fish will Symptoms such as collision and jumping appear; when the ammonia nitrogen and nitrous acid in the aquaculture water are seriously exceeded, causing acute fish poisoning, the fish will also have symptoms such as floating heads, lying on their sides, and dying, but turn on the aerator and use the aerator All are invalid.

Refreshing water, the splash from the aerator is refreshing, and the bubbles disappear quickly; once the water body ages, the splash from the aerator looks thick or green in varying degrees; and the foam is very strong.
